AI voice models use machine learning to help you convert an existing vocal recording into the timbre of a different voice while preserving the melody and timing of the original performance. This technology can help you reimagine what a song might sound like with a different vocalist, create your own background tracks to harmonize with your own singing, and so much more.
Moises AI voice models use a technology called voice conversion to keep the melody, emotion, and cadence of your original vocal performance while reframing it with the timbre of a different singer.
Here's a closer look at how these models are built and what makes them different:
- Trained by real artists. Rather than relying on fully synthesized voices, Moises models are built from studio-quality recordings of real, professional vocalists.
- High-resolution source material. Singers record their performances in professional studios using top-tier microphones and preamps, captured at high bitrates for maximum fidelity.
- Ethical compensation. Every artist whose voice contributes to a model is compensated when that model is used or purchased, ensuring fair pay for working musicians.
Yes. All Moises voice models are trained on professional studio recordings from real artists who are paid for their work, and every voice is fully licensed. That means your finished tracks are safe for commercial release.
Usage Disclaimer: Resale or redistribution of the voice models themselves, or their isolated outputs, is prohibited.
The biggest difference is how we train the models. Voice models need to be trained on existing vocal recordings to function. It’s unfortunately common in the industry to train on lots of publicly accessible recordings without artists’ permission. Moises disagrees with this approach and instead hires real singers to record vocal tracks specifically for our models. These artists are paid royalties for their work.
Yes, Moises lets you adjust the voice by semitones before you convert. And once you’ve converted the vocal track, you can keep shaping it with other tools in the creative suite. This includes changing the pitch, adjusting the tempo, and more.
Moises allows you to process an unlimited number of voice tracks without a paid subscription, but you will only be able to export a limited number of converted tracks unless you are a Moises Pro subscriber.
